Micah 5:2
But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.
Not only did Micah prophesy of Jesus Christ 700 years before he was born, but also predicted his birthplace, Bethlehem. Of special interest is is mention that Jesus indeed, was coming from of old, and was the ancient of days. This agrees completely with Apostle John’s statements in John 1, and in the Book of the Revelation.
John 1:1-5; 14
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it… The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Revelation 19:13
“He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.”
The King of The Universe, Ancient of Days, The Everlasting Word in The Flesh, would be born to a teenage mom, a virgin, On Christmas Day. Overwhelming, isn’t it?
